Gas processing
CAMACOIL LLC handles a diverse range of gases, including dry gas, wet gas, shale gas, stripped gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and marketable gas, at its state-of-the-art gas processing facility situated in the eastern region of Texas, USA.
In 2010, the Company integrated a state-of-the-art Gas Processing Plant into its operations, alongside the development of a freight fleet equipped with a loading rack. This facility enabled the shipment of a wide fraction of light hydrocarbons and stable gas in railway tanks for delivery to consumers.
The plant’s finished products have consistently maintained strong demand, not only within the USA and CIS markets but also on the global stage. Over the years, liquefied gases have been distributed to domestic consumers across various regions and exported internationally.
By 2019, the CAMACOIL LLC’s Gas Processing Plant achieved significant milestones in feed processing, reflecting its pivotal role in the industry.
Plant modernization
After acquiring the Gas Processing Plant, the company immediately launched a comprehensive reconstruction program. This initiative increased the annual processing capacity of natural gas from 2 billion to 3.6 billion cubic meters. In 2018, the company implemented several approved projects to enhance industrial safety standards at the facility.
The reconstruction of the fire extinguishing system in the gas processing workshop was successfully completed. Camacoil Refinery now produces dry stripped gas, a wide fraction of light hydrocarbons, stable gasoline, and technical propane through the processing of associated petroleum gas.
A new custom furnace was constructed, offering efficiency five times greater than its predecessor, saving up to 11 million cubic meters of gas annually. Upgrades were also made to pumping and heat exchange equipment. The two-year overhaul of the reverse water supply cooling tower was finalized, reducing annual water losses by 65,000 cubic meters. Additionally, the selection of target components from gas improved by 19%.
In 2019, the flare system was reconstructed, separating the flare systems of the plant from those of the commodity and raw material storage. This upgrade enhanced production safety and ensured compliance with regulatory norms and standards.
That same year, the company built an in-house desulphurization unit with a capacity of 220 million cubic meters of gas annually. The project also included nitrogen production units and air conditioning instrumentation. Furthermore, a “Program of Measures for the Technical Re-equipment of Plant Facilities” was developed and approved to guide future enhancements.
CAMACOIL LLC’s Gas Processing Plant produces a range of products, including:
