Licensed Geological Exploration
Modeling methods for field seismic surveys have been implemented, enabling the company to acquire the most efficient surveillance system for projects in the Western region of Texas and Sakhalin.
The company utilizes a unique seismic data analog recording system, and the use of 3D winter tests for this system has greatly enhanced our field projects. The results have exceeded expectations, with significant improvements in geological information content, increased productivity, and demonstrated capability to work in remote areas.
CAMACOIL LLC is advancing methods to improve the efficiency and success of exploratory drilling by employing cutting-edge technologies for processing and interpreting seismic data. Specifically, innovative approaches have been applied to account for the upper part of the section, reducing forecast errors in structural predictions.
At the design stage, finite-difference modeling of the wave field is conducted to select the optimal parameters for seismic surveying. This approach has significantly reduced the geologist’s time spent on observing, analyzing geological information, and evaluating mature fields for data processing, thanks to the assistance of artificial intelligence.
We achieved high success with the completion of 27 licensed exploration wells onshore and over 6,778 square kilometers of 3D seismic surveys.
CAMACOIL LLC is consistently advancing the development strategy of our onshore projects in Russia, focusing on annual growth in recoverable reserves. Despite achieving significant results, our geologists continue to explore reserves far exceeding the amount extracted from each project. Over the past few years, the company’s reserve increase has surpassed 700,000 tons.
A key achievement of our exploration program includes the discovery of three new fields within our operational regions, following successful drilling of the first exploratory wells. Additionally, we conducted extensive geological exploration of our gas assets, including 3D seismic surveys covering 17 square kilometers.
In Western Texas, CAMACOIL LLC’s gas reserves increased by an additional 3.2 billion m³.
